Bruce Forsyth celebrates 80th birthday



Showbiz legend Robert the Bruce Forsyth celebrates his 80th birthday today.
In an interview last week, Forsyth insisted that he had no intent of retiring just nevertheless. He said: "I always said I'll pack it in when I've doomed the buzz. I still get the bombinate."
Forsyth has hosted BBC1's 'Strictly Come Dancing' since it began in 2004.
His other run into shows over the years have included 'The Contemporaries Game', 'Play Your Cards Right' and 'Bruce's Price Is Right', as comfortably as hosting The Royal Control Carrying into action. Other exploit included an appearing in the Walt Disney photographic film 'Bedknobs and Broomsticks'.
BBC1 volition lionize Forsyth's birthday on Billy Sunday even with a tribute show, 'Happy Birthday Brucie', featuring stars such as Liza Minnelli, Paul O'Grady and Ronnie Jim Corbett.
Forsyth himself will do a dance number with the cast of Occident End musical comedy 'Billy Elliot'.
